Recently, SMS Energy's 3.75MW/15MWh long-term energy storage project in Ukraine completed the full process acceptance before leaving the factory at the company's production base, and was officially loaded and shipped to the Ukrainian site. The project is another benchmark practice for Sunway Energy to deepen its efforts in the overseas energy storage market and help the "the Belt and Road" energy cooperation, which will inject "Chinese momentum" into the stability of Ukraine's power grid, energy reconstruction and people's livelihood.

The 3.75MW/15MWh energy storage system shipped this time is a 4-hour long-term grid type energy storage solution that accurately matches the core pain points of Ukraine's weak post-war power grid, frequent extreme weather, and frequent power outages. The project adopts an integrated prefabricated cabin design, which highly integrates PCS energy storage inverters, battery clusters, step-up transformers, high and low voltage switchgear, fire temperature control systems, and BMS/EMS management systems. Pre installation, wiring, and joint debugging tests are completed in the factory, and only the foundation is in place and connected to the grid on site, greatly shortening the construction period and adapting to Ukraine's emergency power shortage needs. In terms of environmental adaptability, the system has the ability to operate stably in a wide temperature range of -30 ℃ to 55 ℃. It adopts a high anti-corrosion, dustproof and waterproof structure, which can withstand the long-term test of extreme cold and heat in Eastern Europe and complex outdoor environments, ensuring reliable operation under extreme working conditions all day long. At the same time, the system has dual modes of grid connected voltage and frequency regulation and isolated network black start. When the power grid fails, it can switch off grid operation in milliseconds, providing uninterrupted backup power for key loads such as hospitals, municipal services, and communication, and consolidating the bottom line of regional energy security.
